We don't have any computers in the classroom.
An ipad, but no computer.
That has not stopped the kids.
They are way too inventive and creative for the lack of a computer to stop them from using one.
Computers are such an integral part of life, the kidlets often need one as part of their game.
So, they make their own.
Sometimes out of blocks. I figure that is a real old clunker of a computer. Probably a PC! (Guess which side of the computer divide I am on!)
A desktop made from bristle blocks. (This computer stuck around the classroom for almost a month. If it was raided to build something else, the computer geeks found the culprit was found and reconstructed the computer - probably giving it some extra ram.)
And laptops made from paper. Very light and portable.
Have your kids created their own computers?

I love it when my kids use their imaginations. The power of loose parts.

Too cute. I love to hear them explain their inventions too. Little minds are amazing.

I love hearing the stories and the plan behind the kids' creations too.
